My now husband and I had a personal experience with Alter-Moderne Events Co. for our wedding in Davao on the 8th of December 2019, They were recommended to us by our friend as we needed a Wedding Planner and Coordinator as we were overseas. Alter-Moderne has exceeded our expectations of them. They made the wedding planning so smooth despite us being out of the country and the wedding coordination was above and beyond excellent.

Below is a brief description of our experience with them,
Wedding Planning: Rex and his team are very organized, transparent and professional. What I loved about their team was the transparency of it all, Rex recommended options to us for suppliers and he didn’t disappoint – All of them has such a high calibre of output that it was just hands down amazing. He would work with you in terms of your budget, preferences and would consult with you every step of the way. Another thing that impressed me was the convenience of dealing with the suppliers; the line of communication was through Rex and his team. We didn’t have to frequently get in touch with the suppliers as his team would ask for what we wanted and would work their magic with the various suppliers, if some of our preferences wouldn’t work they were polite and was frank to tell you that it may not look good but would work with you to achieve what’s best– this probably stems from their wealth of experience in such matters.
Advocacy: This is something we greatly appreciate with their team. Meeting up with various suppliers, Rex and his team were the voice for us both. Deviating from what is already mainstream/common he pushed for a unique experience for us – Well worth every cent. As an added bonus he would haggle on behalf of us to lower down costs as well as ensuring quality is maintained without even being prompted.
Communication: They have been open with their communication. We frequently communicated via Video Calls and messages through WhatsApp. They have been very responsive with inquiries and various updates throughout the wedding planning were spot on.
Wedding Coordination: My Husband and I had our own shadows/PA throughout the day. Our shadows would always keep us updated and get us on track with our agenda’s. Their team catered to our sponsors and guests and kept them in the loop to where the ceremony was being held and what time it would occur. They even went above and beyond to escort us back safely to our rooms after we had a little bit too much to drink. Overall very much impressed.
Hosting: Rex personally hosted the event and you couldn’t be more impressed. Objectively speaking he has a good, deep and well-modulated voice. He is very easy to understand and he is very fluent in English. He gave the event a feeling of sophistication apart from the wonderful décor their team has done. The way he hosted the event was very much lively and fun. We were amazed on how he would change the mood from being intimate to lively to formal.
